Compliance

Universal WorldEvents are fully conversant with pharmaceutical compliance codes due to our continual involvement managing events and meetings for a number of large multinational pharmaceutical companies. We conduct staff compliance training for all operational staff and have a Medical Director within our group of companies who we work closely with to ensure we have a full knowledge of all guidelines that we need to comply with on an international basis.

With the majority of our business being in the healthcare sector we recognise the importance of compliance and the ever increasing regulatory environment and as such have appointed a Board Director to be responsible for this specialised area within the organisation. This initiative has led to a continuous review of our internal procedures including staff inductions, training and increased awareness of compliance with our existing clients. Over the past 12 months we have completed several compliance training sessions with the ABPI, extensively covering the EFPIA and US PhRMA codes.

We are experienced in managing pan-European and global events where we need to take in to consideration the code of practice for the country where the event is taking place and also those countries attending, meaning we can offer our clients the peace of mind of compliant certainty.

We also work with a number of our clients to offer consultancy in setting up their own internal compliance guidelines and the auditing of events that involve the attendance of healthcare specialists or organisations.
