Andrew Winterburn To Speak At Summer Eventia
Universal WorldEvents’ European Director Andrew Winterburn will be involved in a keynote panel session discussing the current economic landscape and how it is impacting on the events industry at Summer Eventia in London later this month.
The keynote address is being delivered by Dennis Turner (ex-Chief Economist, HSBC) who will provide a detailed look at the current economical climate and how this is impacting on events and business tourism. Following this presentation Andrew will join a panel Q&A session, moderated by a facilitator who will field questions from the floor allowing the panel to comment and expand on the economic keynote.

09:30 – 10:30 The Economic Times
Dennis Turner reviews the economic landscape of the past twelve months and provides insights into how UK businesses will be impacted by the Eurozone crisis and other economic factors for 2012 and beyond.
10:30 – 11:15 Debating the Economy
Dennis Turner joins an illustrious panel of experts to discuss how the events industry is faring against the current economic tide. Joining Dennis on the panel will be Universal WorldEvents European Director Andrew Winterburn, Caxton FX Managing Director James Hickman and Russell Green, Director of Corporate Sales at IHG.
As European Director, Andrew took responsibility for the strategic development of Universal WorldEvents European expansion, opening our first office in Amsterdam in January 2008, and subsequent offices in Munich, Lyon, Rome and Madrid, which he now oversees. With over twenty years experience of managing large pharmaceutical accounts and events in the healthcare sector as well as fourteen years on the Universal WorldEvents board, Andrew has a wealth of events industry experience.
