When it comes to making Universal WorldEvents a leading event management company, the buck stops here. Accountable for every aspect of the event, you will deliver great business performance and provide the best client experience around. Not only must you have managed teams before, but you will have a proven track record both in operational management and in seeking and winning new business opportunities.
Taking client expectations and competitor activity into account, you will implement constant improvements and actively look for, and act upon opportunities to improve processes, service offerings and relationships. You will prepare and maintain budgets and financially track the events in order to maximise profits.
Team management is also a large part of this role and you will be responsible for motivating and coaching your teams through regular one-to-one meetings, team and project meetings and conducting twice yearly appraisals. Account Managers have line management responsibility for Project Executives and Project Managers and report into the Account Director.

To be successful in this role it is expected that you’d have a minimum of five years experience, ideally in an agency environment.
